1) What are the main differences between a tabloid and a broadsheet?
- A tabloid has a softer news agenda and a broadsheet has a harder news agenda, a tabloid uses less formal language and has pages dominated by headlines and images whereas a broadsheet uses more formal language and is dominated by copy. Tabloids target a more downmarket audience offering news as entertainment whilst broadsheets target a more upmarket audience offering news as information.
