This shows that the 60's was a decade for women rights, they already had jobs because of the war previously however they wanted equal pay for both genders.
The 60's was a time of protests of peace. With the Vietnam war reporters took videos of the war and people didn't like how war was and protested against it. The language in the newspaper shows the newspaper is for the protests and against the war because the language is very positive.
