- How does the mise-en-scene create meaning for the audience?
 (use PEEE paragraph to answer)
  • P-Point: Taylor Swift's pop superstar celebrity image is promoted in her music video through media language
  • E-Evidence: (e.g. of costume, colour, lighting etc) For example the costumes
  • E-Explain: This suggests
  • E-Expand:What else can you tell us about the video that backs your point?

Taylor Swift's pop superstar celebrity image is promoted in her music video through media language. For example the costumes used in the bathtub scene this suggests that she is a high status, she's wealthy and successful. In another scene where she is sat on a chair at the top of stairs in a red dress also backs my point. The scene shows she is wealthy and extremely successful, her being sat at he top of stairs in a expensive dress shows she's above everyone else. The colours used in many scenes are gold, white and red which connote a wealthy colour and her celebrity image.
