Case Study Characters
 - Main character actor : Emma Roberts
 - Protagonist character outline : Name - Uma, Age - unknown (roughly around early 20’s), Job - doesn’t have one, Personality - Kind
 - Antagonist character outline : Name - The Duchess, Age - unknown (middle aged), Job - runs the island, Personality - sinister
 - Sidekick character outline : Names - Chloe & Awakitina, Age - unknown (around early 20’s), Job - Doesn't have one, Personality - Awakitina: Kind & a bit rude, Chloe: Funny & Kind

Characters:
- Is there a main character? What is their name?
 - Yes her name is Uma
- Is there more than one main character? Who are they?
 - Yes and they’re the protagonist
- Is this story about this character or about someone else?
 - The story is about Uma and the behaviour modification centre she has been sent to
- Who is telling the story?
 - The film is told by Uma and is a whole flashback from where 2 months before the first scene.
- What do the main characters look like?
 - Uma has short pink hair and wears a medieval/modern looking princess dress, The Duchess has short styled brunette hair and her style is very vintage with her makeup, hair and dress sense. She always wears red lipstick.

 The Duchess

- What might the way they look tell us about them as a character?
 - The colour pink is a very loving and caring colour which helps to show the point that Uma cares and loves the friends she meets there. The Duchess always wearing red lipstick connotes a dangerous and sinister person which later in the film we find out is true.
- How do they behave?
 - Uma behaves nice towards the friends she meets and even the Duchess but after the intense therapy she starts to think the island isn’t what it says it is and acts up, The Duchess tries to behave like she cares for every woman on the island but sometimes she snaps until we find out she’s not as nice as she says she is.
- Which character interests you the most?
 - I would say Uma because she goes through a lot within the film from being pressured into marrying someone she doesn’t want to, a toxic mother, losing her friends and her love interest but then in the end runs away from it but gives Ana her life in which Ana wants.
- How would the story be different with another character added or taken away?
 - If the sidekick/friend characters weren’t there then Uma probably wouldn’t of escaped and ended up dead on the island like so many others there.
